Surf y KitesurfPlaya de Muro is a sheltered area, although in some stretches strong winds like the Tramontana (north) wind blow, the delight of speed-loving surfers and kitesurfers. Playa de Muro has the only official kitesurfing school on Mallorca, with an access lane to the sea and a channel marked by buoys.
